Hi, we’re CompanyCam.

We’re a simple-to-use photo documentation and productivity app for contractors of all commercial and home services industries. Packed with intuitive functionality, CompanyCam facilitates unparalleled communication and accountability across a contractor’s entire business. We’re committed to providing a consumer-grade, game-changing experience that helps our users build trust within their company and with their customers.

But don’t let that corporate description fool you—the people behind our buttoned-up product are laid-back (but hardworking), genuine, and kickass, and you could be one of them!

The Role

As a Marketing Project Manager at CompanyCam, you will manage the tasks of the design, video, web, content, and marketing strategy team members. The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring all activities of our marketing projects. You will coordinate communication among project owners, creative team members, and stakeholders, taking conversations and turning them into actionable items while ensuring transparency around task progress and updates. You will define the project scope, determine reasonable delivery dates, and assign team members to the work. The Marketing Project Manager also monitors team workloads and helps creative team members establish daily and weekly priorities.

In this job you will...

  • Intake project requests and add them to our project management system (we use ClickUp).
  • Develop and optimize timelines for the delivery of project assets.
  • Schedule and lead project meetings and check-ins, keep notes and distribute action items.
  • Scope estimated workload for project tasks and document deliverables.
  • Monitor the team's workloads and adjust and redistribute tasks to keep workloads manageable.
  • Set, monitor, and manage task dependencies.
  • Build and manage task and project templates.
  • Find process inefficiencies and work with the project management team to identify opportunities to optimize our process strategically.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders and provide project updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assign tasks to the team — whether that be copywriters, designers, videographers, animators, creative directors, or marketing managers.
  • Review completed tasks for compliance with task specifications.

You must...

  • Have 3+ years of experience in a project management role on a marketing or creative team.
  • Have prior experience in workload management for a team.
  • Have prior experience working in task management software to create projects, tasks, templates, and automation.
  • Be a clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Know how to delegate and solve problems.
  • Have knowledge of graphic design, video production, and web development processes.

It'd be nice if you...

  • Have prior experience working in our frequently used systems: ClickUp, Slack, Notion, and Zapier.
