Marble, a technology company combining intelligent software, computer vision, AI, and advanced mechanical design to develop automated solutions for food processors, is looking for a Meat Processing Analyst to help develop and support its solutions. A Day in the Life of a Meat Processing Analyst at Marble:

As a Meat Processing Analyst you will interact with both Marble team members and customers to help drive successful installations and support of Marble products. A key component of this position will be working closely with Marble meat scientists and computer vision engineers to assist in the training and development of computer vision (CV) models of meat products.

Additionally, as a Meat Processing Analyst, you will interact with Marble customers while in the field. Site visits will focus on developing trusted relationships with customers, building knowledge of customer operations to ensure successful projects, and collaborating with Marble engineers to support Marble’s technology deployed in the field.

To be successful in this role, you must have an eagerness to learn and be attentive to detail to assist in Computer Vision development, able to identify and understand the pain points of food processing facilities, and be able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders with a variety of backgrounds and experiences.

Responsibilities Include:

• Train Computer Vision Technology: Identification of meat products to assist in the training and development of computer vision models

• Customer Support: Travel to customer facilities to assist with data collection, testing and support

• Data Processing: Utilize data collected during site visits and captured by the Marble software to help customers make impactful decisions when utilizing Marble’s technology

• Process Improvement: Identify areas of improvement for the technology based on customer interaction and feedback

What You Must Have:

• B.S. degree in Animal Science, Food Science or Ag Business, or equivalent experience

• Experience in meat/food processing facilities, comfortable with safety protocols

• Ability to travel up to 40%

• Ability to juggle multiple projects at a time while maintaining attention to detail

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to communicate effectively in person, via email and on the phone

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Additional Experience We'd Like You to Have:

• Understanding of the primals and subprimals of beef and pork

• Experience working with multidisciplinary technology teams

• Experience with Google workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
