What you will do
As a Barista, you’ll prepare and serve coffee/espresso beverages and small breakfast items for associates in our café. You’ll greet guests with warmth, maintain a clean and inviting space while upholding food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures, and ensure every order meets our high standards. You’ll also support team meetings and events by providing coffee service and snacks when needed. May at times serve as back-up support to Manager, assisting with vendor orders and overall daily operations.
What you need
- High School diploma required
- Previous experience as a barista or in food service is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours up to 25 hours per week
- Strong communication, attention to detail, customer service skills, positive attitude, punctuality and reliability in all work tasks
- Commitment to cleanliness, including personal hygiene and appearance
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the hourly range for this position is $16-$19, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at NRC Health, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package. Candidates must live in the Lincoln, Nebraska and surrounding areas.
