Product Owner (Part-Time)

Location: Lincoln, NE or Remote (US-based)

Employment Type: Part-time (up to 30 hours/week)

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Product Owner who will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of product development initiatives. This role will focus on efficient task management, supporting the development team, and driving product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead stand-ups and refinement sessions.
• Own and maintain the Kanban board, ensuring tasks are prioritized and progress is tracked effectively.
• Write clear, actionable Jira tickets.
• Provide support to developers by clarifying requirements and addressing questions.
• Make informed decisions regarding priorities for the development team, ensuring that the most critical work is addressed first.
  
• Track and report on weekly goals, keeping teammates and product leadership informed of progress.
• Support release planning and execution, ensuring successful deployments.
  
• Summarize insights from user interviews and independently conduct user behavior analysis.
• Support the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Product Owner role and proficient with Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• You enjoy solving problems with others.
• You possess a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
• You're a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• You enjoy analyzing user behavior data.
• You have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
