This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment, loves improving systems and workflows, and is eager to build the accounting foundation for a rapidly scaling organization. You’ll work closely with our Head of Strategic Finance and leadership team while gaining exposure to all facets of the business.

- Maintain and improve accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions including AP, AR, payroll processing, expense reimbursements, and collections.
- Own the end-to-end billing and invoicing process, including subscription updates, collections workflows, and maintaining accurate billing system data.
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with revenue recognition and contract review in accordance with ASC 606.
- Support SaaS financial metrics such as ARR/MRR tracking, deferred revenue, and billings.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure financial data is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
Compliance, Controls & Audit Readiness
- Prepare schedules and documentation for tax filings; coordinate with external accountants and tax partners.
- Support annual and ad-hoc audit requests, including building and maintaining internal controls.
- Maintain accurate equity and cap table data and support equity administration needs.
- Ensure compliance with sales tax requirements; help implement and maintain sales tax tools and processes.
- Maintain clear documentation of all processes, policies, and accounting systems.
Financial Systems, Automation & Scalability
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and implement automation to support scale.
- Support implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of finance tools (QBO, Brex, Gusto, etc.).
- Improve documentation, process clarity, and system reliability across accounting operations.
- Help build a stable, scalable financial infrastructure that grows with the company.
Strategic Support & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with the Head of Strategic Finance on forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Prepare materials for internal reporting, board meetings, and investor updates.
- Collaborate with Sales and leadership on cost management, commissions, and contract workflows.
- Support fundraising processes, financial due diligence, and strategic initiatives as needed.
To be successful in this position, you’ll need to:
- Have 3–5+ years of accounting or finance experience, ideally in SaaS or high-growth startups.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with ASC 606.
- Be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workflows simultaneously.
- Be comfortable owning processes end-to-end and rolling up your sleeves to execute them.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical partners.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes are still being built.
Bonus points if you:
- Are a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Have been part of an early-stage finance or operations team.
- Have supported or led a first-year audit.
